Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 3/4 oz Fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Grenadine
- Maraschino Cherry
- Crushed Ice
Method
- Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker with crushed ice and shake well.
- Serve over ice and garnish with a Maraschino Cherry.
- To really make this drink amazing use your own home made grenadine.
- And to top it off, add your own Maraschino Cherries!
Good to Know
This whiskey sour was adapted from the Ward 8, as a less sweet version. We recently tried the original Ward 8 here, and found it too sweet. This one slightly increases the grenadine but eliminates the simple syrup to create a slightly tart but excellent whiskey sour.
