Trader Vic's Mai Tai | Peri's Place For Recipes


  • 1 1/2 oz Anejo Rum
  • 1/2 oz orange curaçao
  • 1/2 oz orgeat
  • 1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
  • Meyers rum


  1. Combine the rum, curaçao, orgeat, and lime juice in a mixing glass with ice and shake well. Pour into a double (or tripe, if you can find one) old-fashioned glass. Float the Meyers rum (just a dab'l do ya)
  2. Garnish with lime wedge, sugarcane stick, mint spring, maraschino cherry, pineapple wedge
  3. Any combination of the above garnishes will work.
