Triple Berry Jam | Peri's Place For Recipes

1 pint


2 cups mixed berries
1 Tbsp low sugar pectin
1 cup sugar


Cook frozen fruit at medium heat in a pan until the fruit is broken down and beginning to lightly boil.  Stir frequently to prevent the fruit from scorching the bottom of the pan.  

Add pectin slowly to the fruit, stirring it in as you add.  Bring to a boil again for 1-2 minutes.  You should see the jam begin to gel on a spoon when cooled.  

Add sugar slowly, and bring back to a boil.  Test for sweetness.  If the fruit is tart or not ripe, you might want to add more sugar.

Pour into a sterilized clean jar and allow to cool. Refrigerate.
