Ingredients
Step 1
- 1 pkg yeast
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups warm water
Step 2
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
Method
Step 1 (the night before)
- Mix in a non-metal bowl:
- Yeast
- Flour (sifted)
- Warm Water
- Beat well with a plastic or wooden spoon, cover and set in a warm place for 8 hours or overnight.
Step 2 (next morning)
- Add all remaining sifted ingredients and beat really well again.
- Using a 1/4 cup measure, spoon out onto pre-heated greased griddle.
- Cook until edges dry and bubbles do not fill in. Flip over, cook for 1-2 minutes more.
Good to Know
Eat as you would any pancake.
Try butter & powder sugar as an alternate topping.
