Ingredients

  • Whole, cooked Dungeness crab, cleaned and shelled
  • Pound of cooked shrimp (I recommend the shrimp from Peri's Shrimp Cocktail recipe)

SALAD THINGS pick and choose what you like
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Avocado
  • Artichoke hearts
  • Olives
  • Boiled egg
  • ???

DRESSING
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 T ketchup
  • 1-2 t horseradish (to taste)
  • 2 T chopped capers
  • 2 T chopped shallots
  • A few dashes of tobasco 
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • S & P

Method

Cook the shrimp ahead of time to give it time to chill.
Mix the dressing at least an hour ahead and refrigerate.

Assemble the salad and serve with some good crusty bread and a glass of good wine.
